YIPPEE!!!! The first half of Ritenuto is complete!!

Now if you're someone like my dad, you'd probably say: "bUT WHY ISN'T THE WHOLE GAME OUT?!"

Um, it's because I decided to NOT pull all nighters this holiday season. That's why.

God... I really like them.

If you couldn't tell, this story is very self-indulgent to me.

There's actually a really interesting backstory to theses characters that I'll expand on more in a devlog after the GAME IS DONE... but basically I created these two OCs around senior year of high school because I didn't know what to do with my "future". 

Do I go and pursue art and storytelling? Or do I try and find a stable job? And these two were a manifestation of the two opposite directions my heart was facing. There were two wolves inside me. Except they were two anime boys and I thought they should kiss, probably.

Over time their story morphed and changed into what it is today. But the fun thing about constantly posting stuff on the internet even though you weren't very good, is that I still have pictures of when these two boys were first conceived. Baby photos, if you will.

I wanted to try and finish the game this year, but there was quite literally so many things I wanted to update and change that it became a whole new game JLSFKGJSFH.
Only the ADV UI and the backgrounds stayed the same? And the game menu for the most part.

There are few projects that I'm currently working on, but I'm not the director like I usually am... so it should be less work? Thus, I'll try to aim for a time within the year of 2025 to release the final part. I don't want to name any month yet because I might end up being busy... SO just a tentative 2025 release.

I've done a lot of proofreading for this VN... more than I usually do. I really hope it's a visual novel that you enjoy reading as much as you enjoy looking at it. <3
